Job Description

Payroll SUMMARY:
This position is within a school district. The focus of this position is student management and educational support for the Navajo County Accommodation District and Education Service Agency.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Coordinates collection, maintenance, analysis, technical support, training and distribution of reliable and efficient student data enabling the district to effectively achieve its goals. Monitor program software updates Enter, manage and monitor student data in the Student Information System (SIS) Create transcripts through the district SIS Monitor/create and manage as needed: Synergy attendance, class schedules and student information Pull data and create reports from the district SIS for Principal and Associate Superintendent Monitor integrity for ADE reports. Complete the required attendance management Support staff in fully utilizing the SIS programs and processes Create and manage the district technology resources Work with County IT and Sunstate to support the educational programs. Maintains accurate data in the student management system Makes and receives record requests. Support the educational programs through enrollment, classroom/office coverage, organizational, clerical and interaction with families, community, school board and staff. Creates correspondence, reports, appointments, memos and messages as needed. Maintain a calendar of activities. Order and maintains educational/office/ janitorial supplies. Assists students in medical needs in absence of health aide. Intake process for all campuses Student transfer, transcript and records requests Maintain Files of student records/files including permanent records following district procedures in accordance with state retention requirements. Monitor student enrollment Make attendance calls and reports for teachers First contact for students, staff and community Assist with administrative functions of the District administration office Lunch and breakfast orders Order breakfast items and supplies Manage Consortium inventory including test kits, protocols, supplies Collect monthly service logs and mileage forms from consortium employees Assist with transition plans for adjudicated students Create, post and file board meetings agendas and minutes Update policy bridges Support the business office by providing accurate and timely financial and employee related processes. Payroll Verify excel timesheet form Submit the time sheet form to the county office.
Payroll journal:
review and either revise or approve Accounts payable Create requisitions in Visions Check accounts payable voucher for included invoices Mail payments for submitted invoices Completion of other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Other skills: Ability to learn Infinite Visions Fund Accounting software. Ability to learn the District Student Management program Ability to identify discrepancies and determine solutions. Be able to exercise judgment in making recommendations to school personnel. Be able to exercise discretion in maintaining confidentiality of information. Ability to sit and work on computer monitor at least six hours per day. Must be a self-starter and must understand that it is important to do each task completely and thoroughly. 1. $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
