Operation Support Specialist EnclaveJoy Ride 907 Russell Circle, Jonesborough, TN 37659 From $13 an hour - Full-time From $13 an hour -
Full-time Hours:
Monday-Friday coverage; core shift 10:00 AM-6:00 PM (may require occasional early/late start for peak days or special events) Position summary The Operations Support Specialist supports daily operations and works closely with Dispatch to ensure timely, accurate, and customer-focused rides. This role organizes drivers, confirms appointments, prepares driver manifests, enters completed manifests into Novus Med, and helps maintain the end-to-end workflow from booking to billing.
Key responsibilities Shift coverage:
Be available to work the core 10:00 AM-6:00 PM shift and be flexible for occasional shift adjustments.
Driver organization:
Maintain up-to-date driver availability and assignment records; coordinate with drivers on schedules, routes, and requirements (vehicle, equipment, documentation).
Customer confirmations:
Proactively call customers to confirm ride appointments for the following business day, reconciling any scheduling conflicts or special needs (assistance, accessibility, delays).
Manifest development:
Collaborate with the Dispatcher to compile daily manifests — consolidating bookings, passenger requirements, pick-up/drop-off windows, and estimated durations.
Route assignment:
Assign drivers to routes using operational priorities (proximity, capacity, time windows, skillset), optimizing for on-time performance and cost-efficiency.
Data entry:
Accurately enter completed driver manifests and trip data into Novus Med in a timely manner, ensuring records support invoicing and compliance. Payments & claims understanding: Develop a working knowledge of the end-to-end cycle — from booking and manifesting to claim submission and payment reconciliation — so the Ops Support Specialist can surface issues that affect revenue capture.
Customer service:
Answer inbound customer calls about the service, rides, cancellations, and basic account inquiries; escalate complex issues to Dispatch or Management.
Continuous improvement:
Suggest process improvements for manifesting, confirmations, driver utilization, and Novus Med data workflows. Required skills & qualifications Proficiency with basic computer operations and comfort learning new software. Solid working knowledge of
Microsoft Office:
MS Word and MS Excel (data entry, simple formulas, sorting/filtering). Clear verbal and written communication; strong phone presence and customer-service orientation. Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks under time constraints. Team player who collaborates with Dispatch, drivers, and customer support. Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shift coverage.
