REPORTS TO
Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations.
JOB GOAL
To facilitate and support efficient management of the School Department's operational and fiscal affairs.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, address inquiries, direct visitors to the appropriate person or office, and answer and forward incoming telephone calls. Maintain security by following visitor procedures. Manage student enrollment process, including verifying required enrollment documents. Process technology purchase requisitions and payments, as needed. Review accounts payable invoices and warrant on a bi-weekly basis and maintain and post necessary documentation as required. Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Student and Family Support, entering requisitions and scheduling events. Process and maintain CORI and SAFIS records and process requests for Suitability Determinations. Assist with the substitute hiring process, including scheduling interviews and onboarding. Manage facility requests, issues building use requests, issues invoices to renters, and responsible for communicating with school personnel on building rental use. Assist District leadership to plan and facilitate district events, such as recognition ceremonies and employee onboarding programs, managing everything from scheduling to on-site event support. Support financial transaction verification and data entry activities. Process district purchase orders and encumber those purchase orders in the financial system. Assist with posting of district employment opportunities. Match invoices to purchase orders and submit for payment. Process student and employee accident forms. Such other duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent of Schools or Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations.
