Job Description
Operations & Hiring Coordinator Big Bang Fireworks is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Operations & Hiring Coordinator to help support the daily operations of our growing fireworks business. This position is an important support role that helps keep hiring, communication, office tasks, and operational coordination running smoothly throughout the year and during our busy seasonal periods.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES MAKING MANY PHONE CALLS.
The ideal candidate is someone who communicates well with people, stays organized under pressure, works efficiently with office software, and is comfortable helping management with a wide variety of business tasks. This role requires someone who can multitask, stay proactive, and assist wherever needed to help the business operate efficiently. Primary Responsibilities Call potential job applicants and schedule interviews Review applications and assist with recruiting and staffing efforts Conduct initial phone interviews and communicate professionally with candidates Help coordinate hiring efforts for seasonal and year-round positions Assist management with daily operational and administrative tasks Work with spreadsheets, Microsoft Excel, email systems, and office software Organize applications, employee information, and business records Assist with job postings on platforms such as Indeed and other hiring websites Help coordinate communication between team members, applicants, and management Assist with business organization, scheduling, and operational follow-up tasks Support store operations and help wherever needed to keep the business running smoothly Maintain a professional and positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Strong communication and people skills Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, and general office software Basic computer and technology knowledge Ability to multitask and stay productive in a busy environment Professional phone and email communication skills Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to learn Previous office, recruiting, customer service, retail, or operations experience is a plus Position Type Full-time or part-time opportunities may be available depending on experience, availability, and seasonal business needs.Pay:
