Job Type:

This is a part time position supporting the Michigan International Speedway for the Nascar races Jun 5-7. Because this will be in support of the event's reuse program- availability on the event days is required. The role entails working at the customer's location and being an on-site brand ambassador during the event, gathering products, and packing them for transportation to a cleaning facility where the items will be sorted, cleaned/sanitized, and packaged.

Compensation :

Starting at $27/hr, dependent upon experience.

Key Responsibilities and Job Elements:

Placing collection bins Setting up collection bins throughout the venue- next to other waste streams and 1 to 1 ratios. Top sorting During the event, circulate to the collection sites removing reusables from other waste streams and trash from the reusable bins. BOH sorting Going through collection bags behind the scenes to sort reusables from other streams. Bowl sweep Walking through the area that reusables are used, collecting any reusables, and taking them to the area where reusables are stored. Retrieve unused items from vendors post event. Bag collection Collecting full bags of reusables and putting them in the area where they are gathered during the event. Coordinating on-site janitorial Ensure that separate colored reusable bags are used in the reusable bins, where to take full bags, and how to get them to the pickup location. Retrieving collection bins Retrieving collection bins from the venue upon event completion. Packing materials post events Pack all materials for shipping.
