Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Lead to oversee and optimize our facilities management processes. The Operations & Maintenance Lead Technician fulfills an integral role as part of the Maintenance Team by promoting and supporting the daily operations of the facilities, equipment and mechanical systems of the school under the direction of the Director of Facilities. Additionally, the Operations & Maintenance Lead Technician will assume leadership of the Maintenance Team in the absence of the Director of Facilities. Qualifications Previous maintenance experience A proven history and references that speak to success in facilities supervision and management Ability to operate and maintain landscaping, snow removal and other equipment Have a driver's license Have mechanical dexterity May require heavy lifting occasionally Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills A commitment to The Master's School mission and vision Responsibilities The Operations & Maintenance Lead Technician's primary responsibility is to promote and support the daily operations and activities of the Maintenance Department under the direction of the Director of Facilities in addition to the following: Assume leadership of the Maintenance Team in the absence of the Director of Facilities Respond to maintenance daily service needs and troubleshoot as applicable Oversee school vehicles including maintenance and usage Oversee facilities set-up for school events Oversee and perform snow removal (this may be outside of the normal workday) Perform landscape maintenance including sports field preparation Move furniture and equipment and set up for classroom changes Perform projects as needed and/or other duties as reasonably assigned by
Director Skills and Required Personal Qualities:
Strong organizational skills; careful attention to detail and follow-through Effective communication, public relations and interpersonal skills Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and under direction Ability to maintain policy and adhere to workplace safety standards Fully support the Statement of Faith of The Master's School attached and annually sign a statement of affirmation regarding Guidelines for Service atThe Master's School Job Type:
