Job Description

The Operations Manager position is responsible for overseeing all facets of Manufacturing. This position reports to Ownership. Working directly with Ownership to set and communicate goals and expectations for the Operations departments while implementing and enforcing processes and procedures is the priority of this role. This is achieved through delegation to direct reports, evaluation and review of theirs and subordinates job performance, and open communication with all employees. Working closely with the Sales and Marketing Department, the Director of Operations will be the point person to foster growth, development, budgeting, and strategy in all aspects of the business with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality. In addition to the business activity needs the Operations Manager is tasked with leading and implementing physical growth and development of production, equipment, tools, infrastructure, maintenance, headcount, and facilities. Set and communicate goals for all operations departments in conjunction with ownership. Set budgets for all departments and track spending to focus on cost reduction where possible. Update, create, maintain, and enforce policies and procedures. Delegate responsibilities to subordinates. Maintain an employee performance review system. Maintain and implement an employee documentation, training, and evaluation system. Lead the new hire on-boarding process in conjunction with ownership and the specific departments management. Introduce, develop, and approve manufacturing techniques for new products. Develop and implement a facility and infrastructure maintenance system using in-house and contracted personnel. Revise and improve quality systems, internal and external. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to distribute workload and delegate when needed. Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Attentiveness to detail. Excellent organizational skills. Interest in the automotive aftermarket or wiring industries. Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical, and technical documentation. Excellent automotive product and technical knowledge.
Ideal Candidate with posess:
Bachelors degree Two (2) years personnel management required. Five (5) years automotive aftermarket required. Engineering software including but not limited to
  • Excel, AutoCAD, Fusion, All Data. Microsoft Office
  • Outlook, Word, and Excel in particular
  • required.
