Job Description

Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and believes people are the foundation of operational success? We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Thermoset/Thermoplastics Molding facility located in Central Ohio, approximately 30 miles from Columbus. What You'll Do As the Operations Manager, you will oversee all plant operations and play a key role in driving performance, efficiency, and growth.
Responsibilities include:
Operational Leadership Manage all day-to-day plant activities Oversee production scheduling and workflow optimization Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards Lead procurement activities and maintain strong vendor relationships Identify and resolve operational challenges proactively Support and manage plant growth initiatives Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, mentor, and develop employees Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Handle employee relations and disciplinary actions professionally and fairly Promote employee engagement and leadership development at all levels Financial & Performance Management Participate in annual budgeting and cost-control initiatives Maintain accurate inventory management processes Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and profit improvement Monitor and improve plant performance metrics Core Mission Above all, the Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the shipment of high-quality products delivered on time, every time.
