Rain One is a family-owned irrigation, drainage, and plumbing company serving the greater Columbus market. We're growing, and we're hiring a Residential Service Manager to lead our residential service team into the next chapter. If you've built your career managing service technicians at an HVAC, plumbing, electrical, irrigation, garage door, or pest control company — and you're looking for a place where your experience will actually shape how a business runs — we'd like to talk. You'll lead a team of 15+ technicians, partner closely with a strong Field Manager / Technical Lead who owns the technical side, and partner directly with the GM and ownership on strategy. This is a real seat at a real table. What You'll Own The Team. With the Field Manager, own Coaching, development, and retention of 15+ residential service technicians. Daily performance through ride-alongs, training, and clear standards. The Customer Experience. From first call to final resolution. Your team owns the customer's perception of Rain One. The Numbers. Revenue, gross margin, retention, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Real KPIs and the authority to drive them. The Sales Coaching. Coaching techs on options-per-opportunity and consultative upsell — solving customer problems and presenting choices, not pressure selling. The Systems. ServiceTitan is our CRM. Comparable platform experience also welcome. The Partnership. Working alongside our Field Manager / Technical Lead, who owns technical, training, and quality. . What We're Looking For Experience managing service technicians in a home services trade Real coaching ability and a customer-first instinct you can teach Comfort using KPIs and data to manage a team Direct, no-ego communication style — you can have hard conversations without making it personal Excitement about building something
