Job Description
Overview Join a growing boutique vacation rental company managing a curated portfolio of high-quality homes on Anna Maria Island. This role serves as the central hub of daily operations, overseeing maintenance, property readiness, and operational workflows across our portfolio. You will be responsible for leading day-to-day field operations, setting clear priorities, and ensuring work is completed accurately, on time, and to company standards. This role requires someone who can provide direction, maintain accountability, and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to take ownership of both team performance and overall execution. A consistent, solutions-oriented approach to both operational and guest-related matters is essential. Key Responsibilities The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring: Daily operational priorities are clearly communicated and executed Work orders are properly managed from initiation through completion Vendors and field staff are effectively scheduled and coordinated Property standards are consistently maintained across all homes Operational and service-related issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner Internal systems remain accurate, organized, and up to date Maintenance Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance staff and contractors Coordinate scheduling, follow-ups, and completion of all work Ensure clear, consistent communication across all parties involved Quality Control & Inspections Conduct routine property checks and audits Ensure properties, garages, and supply areas meet company standards Identify and resolve issues proactively before they impact guests or owners Inventory & Organization Maintain organization of storage areas and supply inventory Track and restock items as needed Ensure supplies and equipment are properly managed and accounted for Daily Operations Oversight Lead daily maintenance meetings, set clear priorities, and ensure alignment across the team Actively track progress and ensure work is completed accurately and on time Identify gaps, adjust resources as needed, and maintain momentum throughout the day Owner Coordination & Support Support owner-related requests by coordinating operational tasks, vendors, and timelines Provide clear internal updates to ensure accurate communication with owners Assist with larger projects, repairs, and property needs requiring coordination and follow-through Ensure all owner-related work is executed accurately and aligned with company standards Guest & Service Escalations Take ownership of escalated guest or service-related issues and ensure timely resolution Collaborate with the team to resolve issues efficiently and professionally Ensure outcomes align with company standards and overall guest experience What We're Looking For Strong organizational and time management skills Clear and confident communication Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment Proactive problem-solving and attention to detail Comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities and following through Professional and service-oriented mindset when handling guest or owner-related situations Preferred Experience 2-3+ years in operations, property management, hospitality, or a related field Experience managing workflows, scheduling, or task-based systems Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Familiarity with property management or task management software is a plus Compensation Competitive salary based on experience Opportunities for performance-based incentives How to Apply Please submit your resume along with your salary expectations for this role.
