Job Description

Position requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the School District of Manatee County for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, school-based position working with a diverse student population. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply. Caseloads and school assignments will vary based on district needs and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech/language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates Maintain accurate documentation, including therapy notes and evaluation reports Support students with a variety of communication disorders across grade levels
Qualifications & Requirements:
Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License (Required) Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred (required for CCC-level candidates) CFY candidates accepted (Master's Degree required for CFY eligibility) Strong communication and collaboration skills School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Note:
SLPAs will not be considered for this role.
Compensation:
