As our business continues to grow in scale and demand across multiple bubble tea retail locations, we need the professional services of an Operations Research Analyst to apply advanced analytical and quantitative methods to evaluate and improve our store operations. The Operations Research Analyst will help our company identify root causes of operational inefficiencies, constraints, and bottlenecks that may arise as transaction volume and operational complexity increase. The Operations Research Analyst will support management by developing operational reports and conducting time-and-cost analyses to strengthen service consistency and cost control. The hired individual will be responsible for the following duties: Company's Operational Data Analysis (60% of time)

• Collect, organize, and analyze operational data related to our day-to-day store and back-of-house preparation to identify root causes of inefficiencies, service delays, resource constraints, and operational bottlenecks.
• Evaluate workflow processes across ordering, assembly, and customer fulfillment to identify and define operational problems, clarify performance objectives, and prioritize improvement opportunities based on measurable impact.
• Develops and evaluates operational reports that quantify and summarize efficiency gaps and recommends process changes to improve service consistency and cost control.
• Conduct quantitative studies to assess the impact of staffing schedules, shift coverage, and preparation procedures on service efficiency, reduce operational variability, and strengthen operational standards.
• Review operational time-and-cost network analyses to assess operational trade-offs, reduce waste, improve material usage, and support management decisions on resource allocation without compromising product quality. Operational Data Analytics Model Testing and Optimization (40% of time)
• Design and apply data analytics models to optimize operational processes such as staff scheduling, inventory levels, and order fulfillment efficiency.
• Define operational data requirements for forecasting and simulation models to evaluate customer demand patterns, new items, sales, and other factors affecting optimal production and staffing capacity.
• Evaluate model outputs to support workflow redesign, production planning, inventory management, and staffing strategies for our store operations.
• Validate and refine analytical models using real operational data to ensure accuracy and applicability to our daily operations and processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree in operations research, data analytics, or a closely related field.
• 1 year of work experience collecting and analyzing data to identify inefficiencies in company operations.
• Proficiency in R, Microsoft Word and Excel.
