Senior Financial Reporting & Consolidation Analyst Location:
Rosemead, CA (Hybrid/Onsite as required)
Duration:
6+ Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate:
$75-85/hour Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting & Consolidation Analyst to support external financial reporting, SEC filings, and consolidated financial statement preparation within a large corporate environment. This role will focus on financial consolidations, GAAP compliance, accounting research, reporting process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial reporting, SEC compliance, consolidations, ERP systems, and technical accounting analysis. Key Responsibilities Lead consolidation of financial results across multiple business entities and prepare consolidated financial statements Perform intercompany eliminations, top-side adjustments, and reconciliation of consolidated balances Prepare and support sections of external financial reporting packages and SEC filings Analyze supporting financial disclosure data to ensure compliance with GAAP requirements Review and support XBRL tagging and related reporting activities Assist with preparation of internal management and board-level financial reports Conduct accounting research and prepare technical accounting documentation and position papers Evaluate impact of new accounting standards, SEC guidance, and regulatory updates on financial reporting Support implementation of new accounting and disclosure requirements Collaborate with accounting, finance, audit, and business teams to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy Ensure adherence to internal financial reporting policies and procedures Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or equivalent certification required Strong experience with GAAP and financial reporting requirements Experience with financial consolidations and SEC reporting processes Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications Experience with Workiva or similar reporting tools Knowledge of regulatory accounting standards and reporting frameworks Experience supporting public company financial reporting environments Background in accounting research and technical accounting documentation Experience with financial modeling and data analysis Work Environment Collaborative and fast-paced finance environment Cross-functional interaction with accounting, finance, audit, and leadership teams Opportunity to support high-visibility financial reporting initiatives and process improvements Pride Global offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
