Summary We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team at The Ohio Educational Credit Union. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to build our members' financial futures by ensuring smooth operational processes and delivering exceptional service. The position is based in Seven Hills, Ohio. Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes but is not limited to, the following duties. Day to day processing of Operations tasks including but not limited to: ACH, Sharedraft Processing, Member Privilege, Remote Deposit, Work Star Reports, Plastic Card Processing, IRA, Plastic Card Disputes, etc. Provides backup to IT for daily processing activities Answers telephone questions from branches and gives a response in a timely fashion. Researches and resolves problems. Ensures that members are provided with high quality, courteous and efficient service. Makes recommendations for improving member service within the Operations area. Works with the accounting department to ensure that all general ledgers pertaining to Operations balance. Cross trains to provide backup in all areas of the Operations department. Maintains a working knowledge of credit union products and services as well as policies and accepted practices Demonstrates an understanding of and/or follows the requirements of all regulation compliance including but not limited to those of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Member Due Diligence (MDD) as it specifically relates to their job functions. Employee shall participate in annual training in these areas. Other related and unrelated duties as assigned. Requirements Three years of related experience within a financial services environment (credit union or banking preferred). Strong computer skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment and ability to identify/solve problems.
