Job Description

From general eye care to ground-breaking laser cataract surgery, Lake Eye Associates offers compassionate treatments for a wide range of eye conditions and diseases. Job Summary:
If you've ever dreamed of working in the medical field but you weren't sure where to start, we have an opportunity for you! As an ophthalmic technician, you will receive intensive hands-on training that prepares you for a fulfilling career in eyecare. Our team works side by side with renowned ophthalmic surgeons and optometrists, improving our patients' vision and changing lives. This is an exciting opportunity for those who have a passion for helping others and enjoy working in a professional, team-oriented environment. In this role, you will learn the skills required to become an ophthalmic assistant - one of the most sought after type of medical professionals in the country! We will train you to perform complex diagnostic tests and exams, working side by side with our doctors to provide critical medical information that assist them in delivering medical and surgical treatment to our patients. Your training will provide a path for advanced, internationally recognized certification in an exciting and growing field! Education and Experience:
Experience within a professional environment with a strong customer service focus Previous experience within the medical field (preferred) Certification (preferred) High school or equivalent education

This is a full-time position located in
WILDWOOD, FL
Travel to other locations as necessary
Pay:
$19.00 - $34.00 per hour
