Job Description

Summary of Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but not limited to Coordinate photography and diagnostic services and perform ophthalmic photography for diagnostic, documentation and educational purposes in the Ophthalmology Clinic. Responsible for daily patient care and flow, and other duties as directed by the office manager and physicians. List of Responsibilities/Duties Performs clinical ophthalmic photography and diagnostic photographic studies including fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, ocular coherence tomography, electrophysiology and visual field testing. Create patient photo records and maintains a cross-referenced diagnosis/patient database. Maintain certification in order to meet the required criteria for research studies. Maintain photo supply and equipment inventory and review all requests for supply purchases for clinical operations. Manage upkeep and review facility diagnostic equipment including ophthalmic photographic inventory, visual field testing instruments, and ultrasound instruments. Minimum Education Requirements High School diploma or the equivalent is necessary. One year of experience in ophthalmology or photography procedures is necessary.
