Job Description

Private Practice is looking for an Ophthalmic Assistant to interview and obtain pertinent information and perform preliminary ophthalmic testing. We are a fast growing Ophthalmology practice looking for bright, energetic, driven to be part of a team providing great patient care. As an ophthalmic technician/photographer/scribe you would be responsible for providing the highest quality ophthalmic patient care possible. You would also be responsible for performing accurate ophthalmic digital photographs as per the ordering physician and providing superior customer service for the patients. Our ideal candidate is an innovative and motivated individual who enjoys a fast paced work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Rooming the patient, obtaining patient history Documenting chief complaints into EHR Performing various vision tests Scribing for the provider (we are willing to teach) Stocking exam rooms with supplies Various tasks as assigned At times coming in early when needed and or staying past 5pm to finish with the clinic.
Requirements:
Nextech EMR would be a plus Scribing HS diploma. COA certification a plus. Requires patience and compassion, along with attention to detail. Must have reliable transportation. You must travel locally. Weekend on call paid. Team Player is a MUST.
