Responsibilities:
Essential Functions. Completes the start of day processes, including powering equipment and uncovering keratometer/autoreftracter, visial field,Ascan room if needed. Properly rooms patients based on standard operating procedures and assists the physician during the examination and procedures. Performs diagnostic studies and treatments as ordered by the provider Processes and assists provider with requests, including handling medication refill requests and completing forms requested by patients.
Handles patient and clinical messages:
Distributes, reviews, and teaches patient education Prepares and processes paperwork for the charts; make sure ordered tests have been performed and results are present. Completes the end of day processes per standard operating procedures. Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Performs all other duties as assigned. Other Related Functions Maintains an organized and clean work area Participates in maintenance of clinicalsupplies Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Qualifications:
