The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, medical procedures, and ophthalmic testing techniques. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye assessments, assisting with patient intake, and supporting clinical operations to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment committed to delivering exceptional eye care services. As an entry level position you will be trained in the following. Duties Perform a variety of ophthalmic diagnostic testing including HVF, OCT, Pentacam, OPD, Auto-refraction, Lensometry, Lenstar and Lipiflow Assist patients during examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort throughout testing processes. Collect and document patient information accurately, while adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality. Operate and maintain ophthalmic equipment with proper aseptic technique to prevent infection and ensure precise results. Updating and scanning electronic health records using
EPIC, EMR
platform. Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and facilitate appropriate follow-up care. Contribute to a welcoming clinic environment by providing excellent patient care, addressing questions, and supporting overall clinic operations. Qualifications Clinical or medical office experience is valuable. Knowledge and/or willingness to learn ophthalmic testing procedures, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for managing electronic health records. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients of all ages. Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
