Our physician enjoys mentoring and teaching. This will be an ideal position for someone who may not have clinical experience but is a quick learner, compassionate, enthusiastic, and friendly. Training will be provided. GAP year candidates welcome.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Rooming patients, including obtaining vision, intraocular pressure, eye movements, pupillary exam, visual fields obtaining ,reason for visit, and documenting symptoms their frequency, and severity (training will be provided if necessary). Performing diagnostic testing (training will be provided if necessary) Provide courteous and compassionate care. Documents all required information in electronic medical record. This position is also ideal for a pre-Med, pre-PA candidate who is looking to gain valuable clinical experience while still having time for other shadowing/research/studying opportunities while preparing for graduate school.
