This is a unique opportunity to immediately assume the care of an established patient base from a retiring ophthalmologist while working closely alongside a fellowship-trained cornea and cataract surgeon. The position offers a strong mix of medical optometry, ocular disease management, comprehensive eye care, and perioperative care. Clinical Scope Includes Comprehensive eye examinations Glaucoma management Macular degeneration care Dry eye disease treatment Diabetic eye evaluations Cataract and postoperative care Management of a wide range of anterior and posterior segment disease This position is ideal for an optometrist who enjoys practicing at the highest level of medical optometry within a collaborative surgical environment. Compensation & Benefits Starting Salary:
$150,000-$175,000 Bonus potential based on productivity Competitive benefits package Supportive work environment with emphasis on work-life balance Location & Lifestyle Located in a desirable suburban community with excellent schools, family-friendly neighborhoods, and abundant recreational opportunities including boating, hiking, dining, and cultural attractions. Our practice values creating a positive and sustainable work environment for physicians and staff alike. New graduates, residency-trained optometrists, or veteran optometrists with an interest in ocular disease are encouraged to apply. Residency training is preferred but not required.
