Oracle ERP Systems Engineer (Technical Role)

San Jose, CA or New York City Remote:
Considered; travel required (onsite delivery at client locations) Role Summary The Oracle ERP Systems Engineer will deliver and modernize Oracle ERP systems. This is a hands-on delivery role that combines deep technical ERP expertise with AI-driven automation to enable rapid migrations, modernization of legacy customizations, and seamless integrations across enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities 1. AI-Driven ERP Delivery & Systems Engineering Deliver Oracle ERP solutions using AI automation to accelerate requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment. Implement and migrate Oracle EBS R12 and Fusion Cloud ERP modules: Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management), Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Accounting, Billing, and Costing. Analyze, remediate, and modernize ERP customizations using AI for code remediation and workflow optimization. Troubleshoot complex issues across application, database, and integration layers using AI-assisted diagnostics. 2. Technical Development & Customization Develop custom solutions using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, BI Publisher, OTBI, ADF, and VBCS. Design, implement, and maintain ERP extensions and automation solutions powered by AI. Ensure solutions adhere to Oracle best practices and enterprise governance standards. 3. Integrations & Data Migration Implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle SOA Suite, and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft). Manage data conversions and migrations using AI-assisted FBDI, ADF-DI, and ETL processes. Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable data flows across enterprise systems. 4. Testing, Training & Support Conduct unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Lead CRP sessions, SIT/UAT activities, and end-user training (English and/or Spanish preferred). Provide post-production support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization using AI insights. 5. Client Delivery & Engagement Serve as the onsite technical lead delivering ERP modernization projects at client locations. Translate client requirements into technical solutions and functional designs with AI-optimized workflows. Provide guidance on Oracle ERP modernization strategies and AI-enabled best practices. 6. Enterprise Automation & AI Integration Apply AI-driven automation to ERP workflows, legacy code remediation, and data harmonization. Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate ERP systems into multi-agent automation frameworks. Support modernization initiatives involving incomplete documentation and legacy customizations. Required Technical Skills Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and/or Fusion Cloud ERP. Strong SQL/PLSQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, BI Publisher, OTBI, ADF, VBCS, and workflow development skills. Experience with Oracle Financials, Procurement, SCM, Project Accounting, and Billing modules. ERP integrations using REST/SOAP, OIC, and middleware solutions. Familiarity with AI-driven enterprise automation platforms (highly preferred).
