Order Fulfillment Associate and Responsibilities A successful Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible for several key duties within a warehouse and dispatch environment. The following outlines the primary responsibilities of this role:

Order Processing:

Receive and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, recording them, and distributing packages and letters within the company.

Stockroom Maintenance:

Regularly organize, clean, and catalog stockroom items to ensure efficient inventory management.

Order Packaging:

Package customer orders accurately, ensuring the correct products, protective materials, and labels are used.

Logistics Planning:

Schedule large shipments and coordinate logistics to ensure there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and adequate on-site staff to manage them.

Record Keeping:

Maintain records of shipped and received goods by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for management review.

Issue Resolution:

Address any issues that arise during shipping or inventory handling, and effectively troubleshoot customer complaints.

Equipment Operation:

Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move large items and assist with placing or removing merchandise in freight trucks, warehouses, or storage facilities. Order Fulfillment Associate Education and Training Requirements The educational and training qualifications for a Order Fulfillment Associate are essential to maintaining an effective workforce.

The required qualifications include:

A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Knowledge in computer applications, basic mathematics, and computer skills. An associate's or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, logistics management, or related fields is beneficial for promotional opportunities. Order Fulfillment Associate Experience Requirements Experience is critical to identifying qualified candidates for the Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Specialist position.

The preferred qualifications include:

Demonstrated experience in dispatch and warehouse activities. Proficiency in spreadsheet and database software, such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. At least two years of experience in a similar role at the current level. A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting. The ability to work and stand for long periods is essential. Experience in retail, manufacturing, or related fields is considered an added advantage. By adhering to these qualifications and responsibilities, a Order Fulfillment Associate can effectively contribute to the organization's operational efficiency and success. After your first full day of employment, a 90-day probationary period will begin. During this time, raises, promotions, and bonuses will not be granted, as it allows us to assess your performance and determine if you are a good fit for the company. Once the probationary period is completed, we will discuss the benefits available to you as an employee. Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to get to and from work, and use company vehicles. A High School Diploma or a completed GED is mandatory. College Preferred.

Job Type:

Full-time (on-site) Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm Overtime is available when needed, not required.
