Follow a detailed support plan with goals specific to each client's needs and be respectful of each client's wishes and personal preferences.Domestic support skills such as:
cooking, cleaning, medication assistance, scheduling and attending medical appointments, shopping, transportation, and housing management. Working on an array of goals to support clients in accessing social activities and utilizing community resources. Community inclusion support will likely include: attending social and volunteering events with clients, encouraging client involvement in community, advocating for clients, and providing transportation Ensuring client's health and safety. Working with others in the interest of the individuals we support. Proper documentation compliance in accordance with State of ME regulatory guidelines and practices using the ClearCare/Well Sky phone app.This position requires travel to:

off Please note that this schedule is subject to change based on client needs. Additionally, please be advised that we do not provide overnight support for clients.Requirements:
Qualifications:
One year of Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience. Alternatively, experience in the health and human services field, including roles as an educational technician, is also preferred. High School Diploma or G.E.D. as well as proof of completion. At least 18 years of age Legally eligible to work in the United States Pass a criminal, drug, and background check Three references Own a smartphone Able to keep online records and communicate via email Have a valid Driver's License Reliable transportation and proof of insurance DSP Certificate required Have or be willing to obtain CPR, First Aid, and other training as required per state of Maine or clients' Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) Have or be willing to obtain up-to-date, CDC-recommended immunizations for healthcare workers including: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B and Seasonal InfluenzaSimilar remote jobs
