Orthodontic Assistant

Leavitt Orthodontics, a leading orthodontic clinic in Southeast Idaho, is seeking an an Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be friendly and outgoing, possess excellent organizational skills, work well in a busy setting, be able to effectively multitask, and is a team player. We will start you as a Sterilization Specialist with a plan to move into Ortho Assisting with increased responsibilities and compensation. Job Duties Great patients and make sure they are comfortably seated Assist orthodontist during patient examinations, procedures and adjustments Take and develop dental x-rays Make impressions of patients' teeth for the creation of orthodontic appliances Help install and maintain devices in a patient's mouth including braces, retainers, brackets, and aligners Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and care for orthodontic appliances Attend all staff meetings, front office meetings, and daily huddles Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail No experience required Wage and Benefits $14
