Job Description

Orthodontics Dental Assistant Position! Full-time (4 days/week) OR part-time option (3 days/week) to enjoy work-life balance Pay
  • $26•32/hour depending on experience!
Minimum 3 years experience preferred.
Days:
Mon
  • Fri.
Option to take off-days on Tues and/or Thurs. No weekends
Hours:
9 am
  • 6 pm with lunch break Our Private Practice is located about 10 mins from Haslet and Roanoke, TX, about 20 mins from North Fort Worth, 20 mins from Denton and Flower mound.

Duties:
  • Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for orthodontic procedures
  • Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries
  • Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
  • Uphold HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must have a valid Texas Dental Assisting license. Positive and outgoing personality, exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Excellent patient care skills Strong organizational skills Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Ability to build rapport with patients Good manual dexterity Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs X-ray certification (required if applicable)
Education and Experience:
Texas Registration Certificate for Dental Assistants Current CPR certification At-least years of working experience in a Dental Practice Coronal Polishing Certificate is a plus!
