Orthopedic Massage Therapist

FULLY Owned and Operated by a Massage Therapist who's dealt with her fair share of awful spa managers that treat therapists like they are replaceable robots. My goal in opening EliteOrtho is not to become rich off of other people's hard work. I strive to create a healthy working environment where therapists can grow into the best versions of themselves. I share financial statements and stay transparent about paying my therapists as much as overhead expenses allows. I treat my staff as my team members and take their input seriously for any changes they'd like to see in the office.

Why we are so cool:

• You create your schedule, take off without asking the boss for permission as long as clients aren't already scheduled.
• Paid training by a Master Myoskeletal Alignment Therapists who is a Teaching Assistant for the Dalton group with a long list of other specialties. Occasional CEU paid training based on performance and your individual goals (Training days are flexible)
• Pay starts at $35/hr increases to $40/hr when you maintain 10 clients per week (this can happen very quickly). Pay is hands-on hours only but you only have to be present when you are scheduled. Pay increase after that depends on your demand and specialties.
• Free 60 min massage every month that you maintain a minimum of 15 clients a week
• No extra duties, linens are on a wash and fold service.
• You chose your break length between 15 mins-30 mins. (So far we all like 30 min breaks)
• You will not be micro managed. We work fairly independently here. As long as TDLR rules are followed, clients and other staff are happy and I'm not losing money I can trust you.
• SAFE and Supported place from creepy clients.

We rarely encounter a creep but if you do

I WILL HANDLE IT.

Even for something that seems small and innocent, I take any actions making my staff uncomfortable very seriously. I LOVE making creepy clients scared of me.

• I take Labor Laws seriously and I genuinely care about my staff being treated fairly.

What I am looking for:

• Arrive 15 mins before your appointment. (It's a bad look to rush in when your client is there)
• Participate in training days and marketing videos. (Paid)
• Stay within an hour of our office on your scheduled days for same day appointments with an hour notice.
• Stay reachable on scheduled days.
• Leave your treatment room looking as nice as it did when you came in.
• Hydraulic tables in main treatment rooms (manual in our couples room because it is a flex space for events and training but we rarely get couples)
• We don't discriminate in this office towards each other or our clients. Zero tolerance and immediate termination if there is discrimination against any race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender.
• Shower!

The uniform requirements are pretty lax but smells and hygiene are important!

Best case scenario employee:

• You don't have to be the most experienced just be willing and ready to learn! We are specifically looking for massage therapists who enjoy learning.
• We are in need of a few modalities here and it'd be AWESOME if you are already certified in oncology, prenatal, or sports massage (There are several jujitsu teams that could benefit from a sports massage therapists)
• Bilingual!

We have some Spanish speaking clients. I'd love to have a Spanish speaker on the team.
