Skills Required1. Interpersonal and communication skills necessary for maintaining productive relationships with medical and nursing staff.2. Manual dexterity and visual acuity for passing instruments, cutting sutures, and related work .3. Ability to stand and walk while performing daily rounds at least 80% of the time.4. Ability to reach, bend push, pull and lift while applying/adjusting orthopedic equipment and providing assistance to patients.
Facility DescriptionChildren's Hospital of Michigan is an international leader in pediatric and adolescent medicine. Surgical services include general, thoracic, reconstructive and cardiovascular. Imaging technology designed specifically for children provides advanced diagnostic services including Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and MRI. The Children's Hospital of Michigan Emergency Department is a verified Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and dedicated pediatric burn center. Experts in pediatric critical care, rehabilitation, and neonatal and perinatal medicine provide care for thousands of children every year at Children's Hospital of Michigan, Children's Hospital of Michigan

Minimum Qualifications1. High school diploma or equivalent with additional classes in basic science and anatomy.2. One to two years experience in related patient care activities.Skills Required1.
