OTR Flatbed Truck Driver, CDL A, $2500+/Week

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Over the Road Flatbed Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate diverse routes while adhering to all traffic regulations. Experience with different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and flatbeds, is highly valued. Responsibilities Operate and drive tractor-trailers and flatbed trailer. Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations while following established routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries made, and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist in loading and unloading cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling of materials. Properly secure and protect from weather transported goods using straps, chains and tarps. Experience Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Possessing a TWIC card is strongly prioritized. Previous experience in delivery driving, flat bed is an advantage. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations is essential. Ability to operate different types of trucks such as flatbeds is a plus. Strong navigational skills and familiarity with local roadways.
