OTR Heavy Haul RGN Driver (Experienced Required)

Join Our Team of Heavy Haul Drivers! Donegal Services is currently seeking experienced Heavy Haul Truck Drivers to join our team. As a Heavy Haul Driver, you will be responsible for transporting oversized loads and heavy equipment to various destinations safely and efficiently.

Over the road heavy haul truck driver Pay range: $100,000-$150,000

OTR Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive heavy haul trucks to transport oversized loads, machinery, and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Secure cargo properly using chains, binders, straps, and other equipment to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Plan routes and determine the best course of action, considering factors such as road conditions, weather, and traffic.
• Communicate effectively with dispatcher, customer, and other team members.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption and delivery times.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years OTR heavy haul experience
• Valid CDL Class A with clean driving record
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
• TWIC card
• Valid passport Must be willing to stay on the road for 3 weeks at a time.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experienced with a RGN / Lowboy Multi axles 8 axle RGN up to 13 axle beam What sets us apart:
