OTR Team Truck Drivers

In this vital role, you'll operate tractor-trailers across extensive routes, delivering essential goods efficiently and safely. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, across long-distance routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing schedules for timely deliveries and pickups Handle freight securely, ensuring proper load distribution and securing cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transit Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route management Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks with a strong understanding of tractor-trailer systems Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using equipment such as forklifts when necessary Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo securement standards Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service Capable of handling various types of freight including refrigerated goods, heavy loads on flatbeds, or hazardous materials transported via tankers Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference!
