Primary Purpose:
Analyze and support district PEIMS data systems and reporting processes by applying TEA rules and guidelines, ensuring data integrity through validation of data collection and reporting outputs, and developing training and expert guidance to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant submission of student data.
Qualifications:
College hours, high school diploma or GED PEIMS (Public Education Information Management Systems) experience preferred 3+ years experience at Campus or District level in PEIMS/Attendance/Registration TASBO Certification preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Experience and knowledge of eSchoolPlus and/or eFinancePlus, preferable Advance knowledge and proficiency in data recording and analysis Ability to maintain, accurate, and auditable records Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills Successful work experience in a school and/or central office setting Ability to prepare and conduct meetings and trainings Ability to develop and implement professional development Ability to work independently Work with confidential material and sensitive issues Ability to handle interruptions and work with deadlines Ability to quickly adapt to changing technology and new TEA regulations
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Design and facilitate training for front office staff on registration and attendance procedures, using data trends and audit findings to improve accuracy and consistency in data entry practices Analyze and interpret complex student scenarios to provide expert guidance on accurate PEIMS coding, ensuring compliance with state reporting requirements Collaborate with Technology to evaluate and enhance data collection systems, ensuring alignment and integrity across all PEIMS submissions Perform detailed data analysis, including audits, error scans, Unique ID discrepancy reviews, and ADA validations, to identify trends, diagnose issues, and resolve reporting errors within the student information system Develop and deliver actionable reports and insights to central office and campus administrators to support strategic decision-making related to student data and special programs Partner cross-functionally to analyze, compile, and validate student and personnel data for PEIMS collection cycles, ensuring accuracy and completeness of submissions Provide technical expertise and analytical support for departments to improve PEIMS data quality, streamline workflows, and ensure reporting efficiency Lead the analysis and validation processes for district-wide Six Weeks Reports, collaborating with campus leadership and executive directors to ensure data accuracy prior to finalization Support the development and continuous improvement of the district's PEIMS procedures manual by identifying gaps, recommending standardized practices, and aligning processes with data governance standards Monitor and analyze enrollment and identity management data, including oversight of State and Unique ID (TSDS) assignments, to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies Analyze PEIMS discipline data in collaboration with campus and district administrators to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with state standards Maintain subject matter expertise in TEA and Region

requirements, applying updates to ensure ongoing compliance and data integrity Design and generate complex data reports to monitor enrollment trends, program participation, and data quality, providing insights to inform district planning Ensure all data analysis, management, and reporting activities comply with district, state, and federal policies, including strict adherence to data privacy and confidentiality standards Perform additional analytical and reporting duties as needed to support evolving PEIMS and district data requirements

Working Conditions:
Maintain emotional control under stress, work with frequent interruptions. Repetitive hand motions and prolonged use of computer. Frequent travel in and out of the district, occasional overnight trips, travel by car or plane. The position requires frequent bending, stooping, twisting, pulling, sitting, and keyboarding. Position requires the ability to lift 25 pounds to waist high.
