Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Temporary Licensed or Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide counseling and therapy services to individuals with various mental health conditions. You will play a crucial role in helping clients improve their overall well-being and achieve their treatment goals.

Duties:

• Conduct patient assessments to gather information about their mental health history, symptoms, and treatment needs
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on the assessment findings
• Provide individual, couple, or family therapy sessions to clients using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients
• Provide education and support to families of clients, helping them understand the treatment process and offering guidance for supporting their loved ones
• If temporary licensed, supervision will be provided by a trained supervisor.

Experience:

• Completed required internship for school program.
• Graduated from Master's program.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Valid temporary or full state licensure
• Mental Health, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy are acceptable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to establish rapport with clients and create a safe therapeutic environment
