About Us:
We are small medical practice with locations in Wilmington NC and Jacksonville NC, Supply NC, Fayetteville NC, Myrtle Beach SC, Clearwater FL . We are still growing and looking to fill positions in multiple locations. At Nutrition In Motion, we believe in empowering individuals to live healthier, more vibrant lives through personalized, evidence-based nutrition care. As a leading provider of outpatient nutrition services, we work with a diverse population of patients, helping them manage chronic conditions, improve their overall wellness, and develop sustainable eating habits. We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Outpatient Registered Dietitian to join our dynamic healthcare team.
Position Overview:
As an Outpatient Registered Dietitian , you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals seeking to improve their health through nutrition. You will assess, educate, and guide patients with a variety of medical conditions, from weight management and diabetes to heart disease and gastrointestinal issues. You will work in a collaborative environment alongside other healthcare professionals, creating individualized nutrition plans that promote long-term wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments and follow-up appointments with patients to assess their nutritional needs. Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans to address medical conditions, weight management, and general wellness goals. Monitor patient progress, make adjustments to care plans, and provide ongoing support. Collaborate with other healthcare providers (physicians, nurses, therapists) to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay up to date with current nutrition science and best practices through continuing education and professional development. Participate in team meetings, health fairs, and educational seminars as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) status. . Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate patients. Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for a variety of conditions. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred:
Experience in outpatient nutrition counseling or clinical nutrition. Why Join Us?
