ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate commercial tractor-trailer vehicles in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Transport goods over long distances (regional or nationwide routes). Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment. Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) and required documentation. Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported safely. Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules, delays, or route issues. Adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) requirements. Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations immediately. Deliver freight on time while providing professional customer service at pickup and delivery. locations. Load and unload trailers as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Minimum 3 years of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred. Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. Ability to operate electronic logging devices (ELDs) and GPS systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to sit for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to enter and exit the cab frequently. Ability to perform long-distance travel with periods of time away from home. Previous fork lift experience preferred.
