Overnight Dog Boarding Attendant Part Time

Are you an animal lover looking for an overnight position? We're seeking a reliable and compassionate Overnight Pet Care Attendant to join our team. This role ensures the comfort, safety, and well-being of all pets in our care during overnight hours.

Position Summary:

The Overnight Pet Care Attendant provides attentive and compassionate care for dogs (and some cats) throughout the night. You'll oversee feeding, medication, and safety checks while maintaining a clean and secure environment. Most overnight shifts allow for restful downtime between 10 PM and 5 AM once all animals are settled.

Key Responsibilities:

Review daily pet logs and communicate any special needs with the 2nd shift supervisor. Complete nightly routines, including refreshing water, securing suites, and turning off lights. Monitor cats for clean litter and fresh water. Conduct regular safety and wellness checks on all pets. Feed according to the owner's instructions and administer medications as directed. Document details such as food intake, elimination, and any unusual behavior. Ensure all cleaning and housekeeping duties meet facility standards. Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any issues or observations.

Qualifications:

Genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being. Dependable and able to work independently overnight. Attention to detail and ability to follow care instructions accurately. Experience in animal care, kennel, or veterinary settings preferred but not required.
