In this position, you will play an important part in supporting construction and reclamation projects that protect people and the environment. The work you do will involve the skilled operation of many types of equipment across a variety of work sites. As a Equipment Operator B, you will perform the following duties:Vehicle Operation:
Operate motorized vehicles to haul materials and oversee loading and unloadingTrailer Transport:
Tow heavy trailers carrying construction equipment on busy roadsEquipment Handling:
Operate dozers, loaders, excavators, and tractors for reclamation workSite Work:
Work in residential areas to install drainage systems and fill mine cave holesMaintenance Support:
Assist with equipment maintenance, minor repairs, and record keepingProject Assistance:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework:

Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $40,685.00 (before taxes). Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience as an Equipment Operator A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Two years of experience in the operation of heavy construction and specialized maintenance equipment used at this level with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.Conditions of Employment:
This position requires that candidates possess a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL).Other Requirements:
