This full time position will work nights

M-F. GENERAL OVERVIEW

This job provides support for staff and patient care within the assigned imaging department.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Transports patients to and from clinical areas and verifies patient identity according to policies and procedures. Assists technologists with preparing patients for procedures. (30%) Performs post-procedural duties including patient discharge, room clean up and restocking supplies. Assists with inventory control. (30%) Assists technologists with delivering and retrieving patient reports/imaging, entering data, in electronic medical records, import and export through appropriate means and methods. (20%) Provides nonclinical support to the department as necessary. (20%) Any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum High school diploma or GED; or one to three months' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPR - American Heart Association Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate Preferred 1 year experience in medical office or imaging office setting.
