As a Dispatch Professional supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarm and access control activity, and dispatch response resources as needed. You will help maintain situational awareness, provide professional customer service, and support a controlled environment for personnel and operations. $28.58 / Hour As part of our hiring process, we would like to remind you that an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Clearance is a requirement for this position. Verification of this clearance will be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening process. If you do not have an active clearance, we encourage you to explore opportunities that may align with your qualifications and experience. Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management to ensure secure access to facilities. Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Familiarity with alarm panel systems is required to maintain safety and security measures within the organization. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets, as these tools are essential for daily operations and communication. CPR Certification (B205): A valid CPR certification is required to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and clients in emergency situations. Customer Service Experience (B219): Candidates should possess relevant customer service experience to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.

AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Dispatch security-related personnel to incidents, service requests, alarms, and critical situations using established communication protocols and site procedures. Monitor incoming calls, radio traffic, alarms, and electronic systems; document incident details, dispatch actions, and follow-up information accurately. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
