Packaging Technician

Mercy Wellness Distribution is hiring a Packaging Technician to join our Production Team. This role supports the safe, efficient packaging of cannabis products, including bulk and packaged flower, pre-rolls of various sizes, and manufactured goods. The Packaging Technician will be trained on all relevant processes, machinery, and equipment. You will:

• Fill, label, seal, cap, and case pack cannabis materials into various containers and packaging
• Support on daily job input and output data values when needed in Monday.com project management software
• Assist with Reconciliations of product after packaging jobs.
• Conduct quality control procedures as directed.
• Execute daily equipment maintenance and daily/weekly sanitation & cleanup of all production areas.
• Be accountable for helping to maintain state compliance around any and all product movements.
• Meet and/or exceed productivity goals set by the supervisor using time management skills.
• Work well both independently and alongside others.
• Contribute to a positive work environment and "continuous improvement" culture.
• Occasionally work in Cultivation or Retail spaces as required by the business' needs.
• Additional duties as assigned.

You have:

• 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing, processing, or packaging cannabis is preferred.
• 1-2 years' experience in warehousing and inventory preferred.
• Experience with METRC and/or Flourish Software is a plus
• (not required but please mention).
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license or State ID card.
• Must pass any and all required background checks including a LiveScan if hired.
