Position Summary:
This position will operate the machinery, form and pack cases, stack cases, and hand peel/rack off product when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Setup, tear down and proper operation of all the equipment in the department. Pack and weight all products accurately. Perform necessary weight and process checks. Remove inedible and/or rework from the clean room vestibule and transport it to the inedible tank and dump it. Empty film canisters. Maintain the line performance boards. Collect and process production samples and rework. Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed Perform general housekeeping duties in the department. Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions. Maintain general manufacturing practices. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements. Perform all positions of job rotation as needed. Perform any other work as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements:
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level minimum of 20 pounds frequently. The Team Member will use rapid mental/muscular coordination simultaneously. The Team Member will use both hands. The Team Member will stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours. The Team Member will flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently. The Team Member will work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees. The Team Member will distinguish between shades and/or colors
