Paint Mixer

Description As a paint mixer and paint room floater you will mix paint according to the work orders ensuring the painters have the right color and quantity of paint in the correct order to keep them productive. You will also be responsible to clean paint guns and mixing area at the end of their shift. You will assist with paint masking and material handling duties as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Mix the right color and quantity of paint according to the work orders, ensuring the painters have the paint they need at the right time. 2. Comprehend Standard Operating Procedures and follow them to produce quality parts and maintain equipment properly. 3. Mix paint and understands use of Alcohol and Acetone involved in paint process. 4. Maintain and clean paint guns and equipment, including spinners, booths, and filters. 5. Understands, can trouble shoot and correct typical paint defects and can help with process improvements. 7. Matches Paint to Samples. 8. Looks for ways to improve output and eliminate rework submits ideas monthly or as identified to improve output, reduce scrap, eliminate rework. 10. Paint Mixer / Color Match Tech will be required to wear protective equipment including safety glasses or other PPE as specified. 11. Must be available to assist with masking and material handling duties as needed. Requirements

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
