Paint Prep

Description Day Shift:

Mon-Fri 7:00am to 3:45pm The Paint Prep position will work with the paint department in preparing metal parts for paint. This may include sanding, masking, material handling and any other auxiliary support as needed. Will also paint finished product before it is shipped off to customers.

Essential Functions:

Prepare surfaces to be coated by using power grinders and sanders to remove rust, scale, and weld splatter. Prepare parts for painting by hanging items on racks and large items on carts or fixtures. Move items to drying areas, prep parts for further painting or assembly. Wash and Mask areas not to be painted. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
