As an authorized Benjamin Moore store, we specialize in high-quality paints, stains, coatings, and professional product recommendations while delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated, knowledgeable, and customer-focused team member to join our growing Leesburg location. Position Overview The Paint Store Sales Associate / Paint Specialist will assist customers with product selection, color matching, paint mixing, order fulfillment, and general store operations. The ideal candidate has prior experience working in a paint retail environment and understands paint products, finishes, and customer service standards expected in a professional paint store. Requirements Minimum 1 year experience working at a Benjamin Moore retailer or similar paint store such as Sherwin-Williams, PPG, Dulux, or independent paint retailer Strong knowledge of architectural paints, primers, stains, and sundries Experience with paint tinting and color matching systems Ability to assist both DIY homeowners and professional contractors Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment Basic computer and POS system knowledge Responsibilities Assist customers with paint, stain, and coating product selection Mix and tint paint accurately using computerized tinting systems Recommend appropriate primers, finishes, and application products Help customers with color selection and product compatibility Maintain organized shelves, displays, and inventory Receive and stock incoming shipments Process sales transactions and contractor orders Provide excellent customer service in-store and over the phone Maintain a clean and professional store appearance Support contractor accounts and repeat commercial customers Preferred Qualifications Experience with Benjamin Moore products and systems Knowledge of commercial and residential coatings Bilingual candidates are an asset Experience working with contractors, painters, or construction professionals Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Growth opportunities within a growing company Employee discounts on products Supportive team environment Full-time and part-time positions available
