In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to a variety of surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. Whether working on residential, commercial, or industrial sites, you will play a vital part in transforming spaces through expert painting techniques and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple areas of construction painting while contributing to diverse projects that enhance the built environment. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and repairing imperfections using hand tools and power tools. Apply primers, paints, stains, and coatings with brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or other equipment to achieve smooth and durable finishes. Maintain safety standards on construction sites by adhering to protocols involving scaffolding, fall protection, and proper handling of chemicals and tools. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks effectively during remodeling or construction projects. Skills Experience with residential painting, commercial painting, and industrial painting environments. Proficiency in using hand tools such as putty knives, scrapers, brushes, rollers, caulking guns, as well as power tools including sanders and airless sprayers. Hands-on experience with handyman tasks including drywall repair and general maintenance duties related to construction sites.
