JOB SUMMARY
:
PAINTER I
(Paint Hanger): The Paint I - Paint Hanger is expected to safely complete supervised powder coat paint established procedures, processes, or policies. Paint Hangers safely and efficiently load and unload raw parts from the paint line. The Paint Hangers are expected to move efficiently and safely with the end result being a ready to use part or assembly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
:
PAINTER I
(Paint Hanger): Ability to perform highly repetitive assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment.
PREFERRED QUALI F ICATIONS
:
PAINTER I
(Paint Hanger ) : High school diploma or equivalent Manufacturing experience, including knowledge of manufacturing processes or related experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
: 75%
PAINTER I/II/III
Maintain clean work environment Constantly work in a high heat environment Perform work duties in a safe manner and in accordance with policy (including wearing required proper personal protective equipment (including tyvek suite when painting and bump cap when in paint area), work habits and performing appropriate housekeeping duties) Other duties assigned
PAINTER I
(Paint Hanger): Loading, transferring, and unloading of parts on and/or from paint line Process each part by hanging/racking to paint application Inspect quality of parts before and after finishing process 25%

Perform stock handling duties as required Maintain proper counts & report all scrap Exchange and break down racks and prepare for burn off Inspect quality of parts before and after finishing process
LEVEL OF INDEPENDENCE
: This position acts under the direction of the Production/Paint Supervisor
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
: Production Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls; and talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to walk; stoop; crouch; bend and reach above shoulders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working in the typical conditions of a manufacturing environment including seasonal variation in temperatures and occasional exposure to manufacturing fumes or by-products. The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies.
Physical Demands :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
