Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Pallets/Disassemble specialist, where your energy and mechanical skills will drive efficiency and safety in our distribution operations. In this role, you will be responsible for handling pallets, disassembling packaging materials, and managing heavy equipment to ensure smooth flow of goods. Your proactive approach will contribute to maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment, supporting shipping and receiving processes, and optimizing materials handling. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and logistics management. Duties Disassemble pallets efficiently using appropriate tools and equipment such as pallet jacks, clamp trucks, or forklifts while adhering to safety standards. Load and unload shipments with precision, utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory accurately. Operate heavy equipment including cranes, forklifts, and clamp trucks safely to move materials throughout the warehouse. Assist with order picking tasks using pickers and ensure accurate order fulfillment for shipping & receiving. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly stacking pallets and disposing of packaging debris in compliance with OSHA regulations. Support warehouse distribution activities by participating in inventory counts, materials handling, and shipping preparations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to improve operational workflows and uphold safety protocols. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse distribution or construction environments is highly desirable. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks; certification is a plus. Mechanical knowledge related to pallet assembly/disassembly and materials handling tools. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and OSHA safety standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods. Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes including load & unload procedures.
