All applicants must currently possess an active Florida Class D security License Duties Control access to the facility by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Conduct patrols around the premises to ensure safety protocols are being followed and identify potential security concerns. Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively. Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting theft or vandalism activities. Maintain detailed shift reports, incident logs, and activity records to ensure accurate documentation of daily operations. Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to handle emergencies or investigations. Requirements Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; training will be provided if needed. Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods throughout the shift. Excellent observation skills with keen attention to detail. Must currently possess a Valid Class D security license according to Florida state regulations.
