A Paralegal with litigation experience in Employment Law. A passion for advocating for clients in matters such as wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and workplace harassment. Exceptional communication and organizational skills. A team player who is eager to collaborate and contribute to the firm's continued success.Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including maintaining case files and tracking important deadlines. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents. Prepare and organize exhibits, documents, and evidence for depositions, mediations, and trials. Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff to schedule hearings, depositions, and meetings. Review and analyze employment records, contracts, and other case-related materials. Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and assist with case preparation. Manage document production and assist with e-discovery processes. Ensure compliance with court rules, procedures, and filing deadlines.Qualifications:
- Paralegal certification or equivalent education (e.g., a bachelor's degree in a related field).
- 3+ years of experience practicing Employment Law.
- Proven litigation experience, including handling cases from inception to resolution.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, and case management software.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- A client-focused attitude with a commitment to achieving results.
