Location:

Salary:
Commensurate with experience Our client is a well-established law firm. They are seeking a Private Client Paralegal to support their trusts and estates practice group with estate administration, tax preparation, and probate matters. What you'll be doing:
  • Assist with the collection, distribution, reporting, and transfer of estate assets
  • Prepare inventories and asset schedules for estate and trust administrations
  • Prepare state and federal fiduciary income tax returns, as well as estate and gift tax returns (with supervision)
  • Draft and e-file probate pleadings, trust administration documents, and accountings
  • Monitor deadlines and case schedules to ensure timely filings
  • Communicate with attorneys and team members regarding status of matters
  • Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Serve as a liaison between attorneys and clients throughout the lifecycle of matters
  • Utilize estate and trust administration and tax software systems
  • Accurately enter and review billable time What you'll need:
  • 5+ years of trusts and estates administration experience
  • Experience with Florida probate and estate administration processes
  • Knowledge of Florida e-filing systems and probate software
  • Experience preparing or assisting with federal estate, gift, and fiduciary tax returns preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and professional judgment
